Newsmakers

• James C. Clar '78, a religion faculty member, had published in the June/July 2005 issue of Mystery News, an interview with the Irish novelist, Ken Bruen. Bruen is an acclaimed write of crime fiction and is a recipient of the Shamus and McAvity Awards. Clar also had published in the August issue of Great Britain's Crimetime Magazine and article entitled “Eric Ambler: Father of the Modern Thriller.”

• John Finn and John Kreckel, both members of the Class of '05, received their Eagle Scout awards this past August.
