McQuaid Jesuit has partnered with the Bivona Child Advocacy Center to continue to educate, empower, and equip our young men, parents/guardians, school faculty/staff, and the entire school community with information and strategies to prevent, recognize, and respond appropriately to all types of abuse, bullying, cyber bullying, and digital abuse. McQuaid Jesuit and community educators from Bivona will be collaborating with our Counseling Department to deliver the Teen Safety Matters™ program from the Monique Burr Foundation for Children. Teen Safety Matters™ is a comprehensive, research-based prevention program that includes engaging classroom lessons that are age and developmentally appropriate for students in grades 6-12. These classroom lessons will cover digital safety, physical/emotional safety, mental health, and substance use.
