Ms. Mary Jo Jesmer
Dir. Advancement Services
Mary Jo started at McQuaid in August 1999 as an assistant in the BASH Office. Since then, she has held various positions within the advancement department and currently serves as the director of advancement services where she is responsible for managing the school's database. While she has seen much growth to the physical school over the years, the mission of Creating Great Men remains the same and her role in advancement helps make it a reality for many young men. Mary Jo holds a B.S. in accounting from St. John Fisher College. Her three sons graduated from McQuaid: Graham, '03, Colin, '05 and Lowell, '07.
Mr. Sean Mullen, ’02
Dir. Communications & Alumni
Sean returned to his alma mater in July 2009 after a brief career in television at 13 WHAM-TV in Rochester and ESPN in Bristol, Connecticut. In his current role, Sean oversees all communications for the school including marketing, PR and the website. He also handles alumni relations when it comes to organizing gatherings and reunions as well as writing the alumni magazine, the Cauldron. Sean holds a B.A. in journalism from St. Bonaventure University. He wife, Kerrie, is a Mercy graduate and they have one son, Rory.
Mr. Tim Nally, ’67
Tim has remained engaged with the school since his graduation in 1967 having served on numerous board committees as well as president of the Alumni Association for 12 years. Following his retirement from IBM (July 2012), he joined the Advancement team in his current capacity and is responsible for all fundraising across the Annual Fund, Endowment and Capital Projects. He has a vast McQuaid background and brings that “passion for the mission” to school every day. Tim’s three younger brothers also attended McQuaid. His three sons also graduated from McQuaid: Matt, '98, Ben, '02 and A.J., '06.
Ms. Pamela White
Dir. of Development
Pamela joined the Advancement Team in 2008 as Director of Development. She is responsible for all Annual Giving programming and planned gifts to the school. Pam has 28 years of development experience in the Rochester area including: The Hillside Family of Agencies, University of Rochester and Golisano Children’s Hospital. Pamela is a graduate of St. John Fisher College. She is married to a McQuaid alumnus Chip White, ’85 and the mother of Robert, ’18.
Ms. Heather Whiting
Director of Special Events & Parent Relations
Heather Whiting joined McQuaid in June 2016, as the Director of Special Events and Parent Relations. She most recently was a senior compliance officer at Shapiro, DiCaro & Barak, LLC. She has been involved in the planning of many events in the community, including the Polar Plunge to raise money for the Special Olympics, and Relay for Life, which is a fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. Heather is a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy and holds a B.S. in Communications from SUNY Fredonia. She is married to a McQuaid alumnus, Adam Whiting, ’98, and looks forward to when her two sons, Ethan and Brandon, become Knights.
