Ignatian Yoga

Ignatian Yoga is a collaborative ministry of Jesuits and lay people that integrates the spirituality of St. Ignatius and the practices of yoga and meditation. McQuaid faculty, administration and staff are invited into awareness of God’s presence in their lives as we reflect on our own experience and connect mind, body, and spirit through yoga, prayer, and personal reflection time. With an emphasis on cura personalis and finding God in all things, McQuaid Jesuit’s Ignatian Yoga strives to bring you closer to your source – God’s love – strengthening you for mission!

Facilitator:  Tracey Bors

Place:  Room 050

Time:  Thursdays 3:15-4:15 beginning October 11, 2018

Please bring your yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes that will allow for ease of movement.  Prior yoga experience is not necessary. Drop in as you are able!

Tracey Bors has been a teacher of English at McQuaid Jesuit since 1995. She holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Roberts Wesleyan College. In 2013, she earned her 200 hour Yoga Alliance Certificate in Kundalini yoga. The same year, she completed her certification in Ayurvedic Healing from Kripalu, the largest yoga and holistic living center in the North America. This fall, she will continue her study of yoga in the Iyengar tradition at Open Sky Yoga Center, and will obtain her 500 hour certificate this summer. Ignatian Yoga represents the integration of two of Tracey’s passions: yoga and the mystical tradition of St. Ignatius of Loyola.
