More than 700 guests attended McQuaid’s 46th Annual dinner/auction, BASH (Building a Scholastic Heritage) Saturday, March 23, in the Deborah & John DiMarco, ’60 Field House. This year’s co-chairs, Chrissy & Scott Cottier, ’90, P ’19 and Dawn & Jim Schnell, ’91, ’19, chose the theme uKNIGHTed in Brotherhood as a way to embody and honor everything McQuaid represents to the students, teachers, alumni, parents, and the entire Jesuit Community, who, since 1954, have blessed McQuaid.
As an example of someone who exudes and exemplifies the spirit of McQuaid brotherhood, the co-chairs honored Tom Trevett, ’60, P ’90 at the event. A member of the third graduating class, Tom has been an evolutionary force within the hallowed halls of McQuaid since its earliest days. An alumnus, graduate parent, past board chair, honorary board member, donor, volunteer, and contributor, Tom, for decades has led the way and shown the McQuaid community a path on how best to go forth to set the world on fire. Tom and his wife, Margaret, were honorary chairs of this year’s BASH. Below is a message from Tom about brotherhood and how it ties into the worldwide Jesuit network as well as the 2019 BASH Video.
