Bergeron, Wilson and Passero earn all-state honors for football

The New York State Sportswriters Association announced its 2019 large-school, all-state football teams for Class AA and Class A on Wednesday and two Section V players earned first-team honors.

One was Quinn Bergeron, a 6-foot-1, 320-pound offensive tackle who helped pave the way for McQuaid’s trip to the state title game, earned first-team honors in Class AA.  Defensive lineman Aldrin Wilson, Jr. was named third-team defense, and running back Andrew Passero received a nod for fifth-team offense.
