McQuaid Welcomes Catholic Worker for Hunger and Homelessness Week

Today, McQuaid Jesuit’s Office of Ignatian Mission and Ministry welcomed James Murphy from St. Joseph’s House of Hospitality to speak with students as part National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. James talked with students about the Catholic Worker movement, his life and path to working at St. Joseph’s, and how our communities can better encounter and listen to the marginalized. McQuaid’s Thanksgiving Food Drive is also running in conjunction with Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. You can learn more about the drive by watching this video put together by McQuaid students! All donations should be brought in by Friday.
