In your prayers, please remember the soul of Mr. Jeffrey J. Paris, ’79. Mr. Paris passed away December 19, 2018.

Paris, Jeffrey J.

Macedon – If you don’t recognize this picture of Jeffrey John Paris, then you unfortunately missed the legend known as Heff. Our fearless Heffrey took flight on December 19, 2018 after a two year affliction with bile duct cancer, an uninvited guest to the party. His endless energy and love of life will be missed, especially by his wife, Heidi, daughter, Zoe, parents, Peter and Dedi, and brother, Steve. This time of year he often quoted Scrooge saying “I like life, life likes me.” He certainly lived life to the fullest for 57 years. He obtained a master’s degree, pilot’s license, and became a certified aircraft mechanic so he could not only build two planes of his own but also help others do the same. A true wingnut, emphasis on the nut. Heffrey was one of a kind; a catalyst for adventure hikes at the cottage, flying his planes on sunny days, having a second bowl of Lucky Charms, wearing his Scottish kilt, being a dog whisperer, blasting his favorite songs, biking to the gym to lift weights for a “real” workout, voraciously eating everything except eggplant, fixing anything, telling a story like no other with his comedic flair (completely sober 20 years), and fiercely loving his family and friends.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
