RIP: William P. Meagher, ’58

In your prayers, please remember the soul of William P. Meagher, ’58.

Meagher, William P.

Pittsford, NY: January 1, 2020.  The Man, the Myth, the Legend! Boozie passed peacefully at home, surrounded by his family on New Years morning at the young age of 80.

Boozie was survived by his wife and sidekick of 55 years, Mary; loving children, Colleen (Greg) Moynihan & Bill (Lynette) Meagher; and 7 spoiled grandchildren, Carley, Courtney, Sydney, Maggie, Delaney, Clare & Billy.
Boozie is survived by his siblings Joan Gordon,Jerry (Joanne) Meagher, Gary Meagher, Diane (Chauncy) Lapp and many nieces and nephews.
Boozie graduated in 1958, the first graduating class of McQuaid Jesuit High School. He was known on the football and baseball fields as “Mouse” Meagher.
Boozie lived and loved sports and never missed the chance to support his children and grandchildren on and off the field. When he wasn’t on the golf course, you could find him watching the sports channel with his favorite beverage in hand.
The life of the party…made friends everywhere…always the last to leave!
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen
