Soccer team shuts out AQ; Raises money for a good cause

The varsity soccer team improved their record to 10-1-1 on Saturday evening, with a 4-0 shutout win over rival Aquinas. Caden Kress and Dan Malloy scores two goals apiece and McQuaid Jesuit won its fifth straight game. The shutout was the third straight for the Jesuit Knights.

Rivalry aside, the game also served as a platform for the two schools to join forces and raise money for local charity, IACKids, which provides local families with assistance during times of hospitalization. Both teams wore special jerseys that were auctioned off to assist with their fundraising efforts. You can learn more by checking out the article on the Rochester First website.
