Since 1548, the Jesuits and their lay collaborators have been at the forefront of education in schools and universities around the world, and since 1954, McQuaid Jesuit has been a part of that tradition.
Formation in a Jesuit school refers to the process of learning and embracing Ignatian Spirituality. Common to Jesuits and Lay Collaborators, formation in Ignatian Identity gives language, meaning, structure and purpose to our lives and the Mission of McQuaid Jesuit.
It is the strength of our school community that empowers each student to be himself while still discovering all the potential he has inside. We strive to help students reflect on who they are, what God calls them to become, and how they answer His call and go forth with courage.
We are very fortunate to have a rich tradition of giving from our alumni, parents and friends, helping to ensure our young men a learning environment that fosters their growth as leaders, and more importantly educates them in the Jesuit tradition of "Men for Others."
