McQuaid Jesuit Presents

The Language Archive

Audition Information

To whom it may concern:

McQuaid Jesuit is proud to announce the hilarious comedy The Language Archive as its fall drama production. This show offers a unique opportunity with many roles for female actors.

In this warm-hearted comedy, George is a man consumed with preserving and documenting the dying languages of far-flung cultures.  Closer to home, though, language is failing him.  He doesn’t know what to say to his wife, Mary, to keep her from leaving him, and he doesn’t recognize the deep feelings that his lab assistant, Emma, has for him.  When two mysterious strangers enter their lives, though, everyone is forced to confront what it is at stake a when a person says, “I love you.” Roles for five men and four women.

I would greatly appreciate it if you would post the enclosed flyers in appropriate areas and encourage your students to audition. Should you or your students have any questions, please contact me. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Jeff Siuda
