Gifts to the Annual Fund represent an important component of the school’s annual revenues. These gifts are raised and spent in the current fiscal year to support the school’s ongoing needs. The actual cost of educating a student is more than what is charged for tuition, and the annual fund helps close that gap. The annual fund provides students with the resources they need while keeping a Jesuit education within financial reach for their families. Annual gifts support:
- Need-based tuition assistance
- Outstanding facilities and student programming
- Athletics, fine arts and many other co-curricular programs and clubs
- Student retreats and service trips
- Faculty and staff professional development programs
Honor and memorial gifts can be made on behalf of a loved one. These gifts are considered unrestricted and are used for the immediate needs of the school.
Gifts can also be designated to support endowed scholarships or tuition aid. These gifts are considered restricted, and ensure the ongoing support of McQuaid Jesuit and its students. We have many named scholarships that individuals give to on an annual basis.
Knights’ Council Legacy Program
For the past 36 years our Knights’ Council has been a critical component of McQuaid Jesuit’s success. With 283 Knights’ Council members (and counting), the Knights Council provides vital funds that support operations and the evolving needs of the school. These annual contributions ensure that our students have the acquired skills and tools necessary to be successful during these important formative years – and beyond.
Whether in the classroom, on the field, or serving their community, our young Knights are being inspired every day to learn and grow in the Jesuit tradition of becoming – Men For Others. This would not be possible without the dedication of our talented faculty and staff, and the generosity of our faithful alumni, parents, and friends.
We invite you to join our important mission by becoming a Knights Council Legacy member. Your multi-year pledge of $1,500 or more annually, for the next 3-5 years, will aid in securing the future of Knights today, and for countless Knights to come.
