The McQuaid Jesuit Parents’ Association supports our sons’ pursuit of excellence, service, and justice.
To do so, the Association serves as a liaison between the school and its families in order to organize meaningful events that strengthen the McQuaid community and encourage family involvement.

Our Brothers’ Closet
The Parents’ Association (PA) is very appreciative of all the donations of gently used clothing to Our Brothers’ Closet. Run by the PA, Our Brothers’ Closet is the place where we house gently used clothing donations that could be used for dress code, such as shirts, pants, suitcoats, as well as McQuaid Spirit Wear that students are able to wear on dress down days. The closet is available to any student at any time who may need assistance in sourcing attire due to financial restraints. A few times a year the PA also hosts Annual Garment Sales, where items in Our Brothers’ Closet are available for sale at discounted rates. ($15 jackets, $5 shirts, pants, shorts, $2 belts, $2 ties). All proceeds of our Garment Sales help the Parent Association to host events throughout the year that gather the McQuaid community.

If you are interested in volunteering to help setup and work these sales, or donate your time assisting with the maintenance of the closet at a time that is convenient for you – please contact pa@mcquaid.org – we would love to have you join us!
Our Brothers’ Closet is located in Room 230 across from the Counseling Offices. Clothing donations may be dropped off to the front office during school hours between 7:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday – Friday. You may contact pa@mcquaid.org, or Elizabeth Roach at 585-256-6102 with any questions.
Service Program Information Night
In March, Adam Baber, the Director of Service and Justice holds an information session regarding the service requirement at McQuaid Jesuit. Topics covered include what is required at each grade level, how students report their hours, service immersion opportunities, and the senior capstone project.

Mothers for Others
Mothers for Others is a program for the moms of McQuaid volunteering in service to our local community. We offer opportunities throughout the Rochester area at a variety of organizations in need. Each month we will schedule a service opportunity and ask for volunteers through a Sign-Up Genius. There is no time requirement and dates and times will vary depending on the individual organization’s needs.
