Academic Acceleration Courses
McQuaid offers academic acceleration courses credit. Courses are designed to enhance students’ education in areas they wish to accelerate for the upcoming school year.
New this year, McQuaid is offering a variety of enrichment courses specifically design to reinforce core skills and knowledge for future coursework. These three, 2-week sessions offers daily, one-house online courses in mathematics, critical reading and writing, study skills, SAT preparation, and robotics, among others. Students may register for as many offerings as they would like in as many sessions as they would like. These courses are different from our courses for academic acceleration, for which students receive credit.
McQuaid currently is evaluating all summer athletic camps and is committed to offering some form of athletic experience for our students this summer, consistent with guidelines from health professionals. Please pay close attention to this website for ongoing planning information. In addition, the status of official McQuaid team practices will be updated throughout the summer based on medical directives. Students should stay in close contact with their respective coaches for the latest updates.
