Freshmen Spend Morning Doing Service

On Wednesday, October 14, McQuaid’s freshman class participated in a morning of community service. The class was divided into 10 groups and, along with their adult leaders, set out to various locations across Rochester. This year’s locations included Heritage Christian Stables, House of Mercy, Mary’s Place, Nativity Prep, REACH, Saint’s Place, School of the Holy Childhood, Seton Catholic School, Wilson Commencement Park, and the YWCA. Students did everything from cleaning and yard work to organizing supplies and packaging food boxes.

To conclude the day, students participated in an Examen and reflected on what it means to be Men for Others.
