Caledonia: Gone Home to be with the Lord, suddenly on September 21, 2020 at age 68. He was predeceased by his parents, Richard & Rita Keeley. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Mary Catherine (Smelt) Keeley; children, Tim (Kristin) Keeley, Beth (Jonah Berman) Keeley, Martha Keeley, Bob (Jessica Wilkinson) Keeley, Paul (Alexandra) Keeley; grandchildren, Kamryn, Caleb, Micah, Hazel, Elijah Robert, Lucca; brothers, Richard (Louise) Keeley, Donald (Faith) Keeley, John (Debbie) Keeley, Bill (Lisa) Keeley; sister-in-law, Susie Smelt; nephew, Patrick Albert Smelt; nieces, nephews, cousins, the Smelt Family and a community of friends. Bob was incredibly loved by his entire family and was a father figure and support to so many people.
Bob was a graduate of McQuaid High School, class of 1970, RHEMA Bible Training Center, Tulsa, OK, 1992 and was retired from the Rochester Police Department and the Livingston County Sheriffs Office. He led ministries throughout his life, including supporting many Gospel Churches, prison ministry groups and acted as chaplain to many sports teams. He loved Jesus with all his heart.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
