Eckl, Robert J.

Brighton – Passed away on April 6, 2021, at the age of 74. Survived by his wife, Jacqueline Eckl; daughter, Nicolette (Samuel) Meyer-Walsh; sister, Anne (Edward) Throm; brother-in-laws, Robert (Linda) Franklin and Gary (Nancy Gibbon) Franklin; sister-in-law, JoAnn (Kevin) Critchley; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and good friends.

Bob attended McQuaid HS, where he played baseball & football. He graduated from St. John Fisher College with a Bachelors’ Degree in Economics. He also served 4 years with the National Guard. Bob was an avid golfer. He was a member at Brooklea Country Club for many years and was also a member of Webster Golf Club.

Bob never had children of his own, but, when he talked about Nicolette to friends & co-workers, he always referred to her as his daughter. He loved her as his own.

Bob’s wit & smile will be missed.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.
May his soul and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the Mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen
