Students Volunteer at Intergenerational Fall Clean-Up

On Saturday, November 14, a group of juniors participated in the 10th annual Intergenerational Fall Clean-Up. This one-day event sponsored by the Monroe County Office for the Aging invites youth volunteers from area schools, youth service agencies, college students, and faith based organizations to rake leaves for Monroe County’s older adults. The McQuaid students cleaned up the yard of a proud WWII Navy veteran who was very appreciative of their work. Monroe County Executive Adam Bello stopped by to thank the boys for their efforts.
